Text Box: The Rowan Group is a unique consortium, consisting of Barony, Dunedin Canmore, Margaret Blackwood, Prospect and Viewpoint Housing Associations together with Malcolm Homes Ltd. Selected by the City of Edinburgh Council as preferred partners for housing development funding in 2004, collectively we own around 5000 properties in Edinburgh, with a further 2250 properties nationwide.
Together we have the strength and established reputation which comes from many years' experience of providing excellent quality housing for people with varying needs and providing relevant and sensitive support services.
The consortium approach allows us to combine our experience and make the most of our extensive expertise and resources in design, development, housing management and maintenance. As a result, we can provide better quality housing to a wider, more diverse client group with varying housing requirements including social rented housing, housing for sale, for private rental, or specially designed housing for people with specific needs.
We remain committed to work in partnership with parties to provide quality affordable housing for those with low incomes and / or specialist needs. Additionally, we endeavour to promote best practice and encourage social inclusion and will be innovative in supporting those communities in which we operate.
